At work I get to sample lots of interesting goodies from around the world, thanks to my colleagues! =) On Friday, in celebration of Diwali - the Indian festival of lights, I got to try Gulab Jamun for the first time! The ones I had were about the size of Maltesers.. they a like tiny little doughnuts, sitting in a lovely sweet syrup - absolutely delicious, I can see why these are a popular dessert in India!
